1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham on 18 March 2024 made the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders, to facilitate the installation of new cycle hangars, will be to remove short lengths (approximately 2.5 metres) of parking places and double yellow line waiting restrictions from the following locations:

Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 25 March 2024 and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection by appointment during normal office hours at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU, by telephoning 020 3373 6415 or by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
