THE ABLE MARINE ENERGY PARK DEVELOPMENT CONSENT ORDER 2014 (S.I. 2014/2935)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FROM THE SECRETARY OF STATE TO EXTEND A TIME LIMIT IN THE ABOVE DEVELOPMENT CONSENT ORDER UNDER ARTICLE 7 OF THAT ORDER

A request has been made by Able Humber Ports Limited to the Secretary of State for Transport, to extend a time limit in the above-mentioned Development Consent Order (the ‘DCO’).

This request does not constitute a non-material change but is a standalone process as set out in Article 7 of the DCO. Nonetheless, in agreement with the Department for Transport, Able Humber Ports Limited is carrying out the request to extend the time limits using a procedure equivalent to that for a non-material change, particularly having regard to Regulations 6 and 7 of the Infrastructure Planning (Changes to and Revocation of, Development Consent Orders) Regulations 2011.

The contact details of the Applicant are: Able Humber Ports Limited, c/o Able House, Billingham Reach Industrial Estate, Billingham TS23 1PX.

The DCO came into force on 29 October 2014. The proposal seeks to extend the period of completion of the works by a further seven years taking the deadline for completion from 29 October 2024 to 29 October 2031.

The application documents and plans showing the nature and location of the land concerned can be viewed free of charge on Able UK’s website at https://www.ableuk.com/sites/port-sites/humber-port/able-dco-extension/.

A free digital copy of the application can be obtained from Able by emailing info@ableuk.com or telephoning 01642 806080. Alternatively, a paper copy can be obtained but a charge of £250 will be made.

Representations concerning the request for an extension to the time limit should be sent to the Planning Inspectorate (on behalf of the Secretary of State) by email to ablemarineenergypark@planninginspectorate.gov.uk or by post to National Infrastructure, The Planning Inspectorate, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Bristol BS1 6PN.
