ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (SUTTON) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2008 THE A232 GLA ROAD (CROYDON ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2024

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 6th June 2024 it made the above named Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 20th June 2024.

2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to:

(1) introduce a 6.6 metre long No stopping at any time except disabled persons’ vehicles only bay outside Nos. 383 to 385 and 387 to 389 Croydon Road;

(2) split the existing Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, maximum stay 1 hour, no return within 2 hours parking and disabled persons’ vehicles bay outside Nos 367 to 371 to Nos 391 to 399 Croydon Road introducing a 12 meter bay west of the disabled persons’ vehicles bay and a 20 metre long bay to its east;

(3) make a minor administrative change to the Double Red Lines (no Stopping at Any Time) restriction to the west of the western parking and disabled persons’ vehicles bay.

3. The road which would be affected by the Order is the A232 Croydon Road.

4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected by visiting our website at https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/tro and selecting the relevant borough and reference the Traffic Order relates to or by appointment during normal office hours at our office at the address below. 5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
