CHANGES TO OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES IN CENTRE WAY, SOUTH WAY AND MARSH HOUSE (NO. 500) MONTAGU ROAD N9 AND REVOCATION OF WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS IN THE ACCESS ROAD TO THE REAR OF NOS. 18 – 38 CAPEL ROAD EN1

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (‘the Council’) have made the Enfield (Off-Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. 1) Order 2024, and the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Amendment No. 252) Order 2024 under sections 6, 32, 33, 35 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the 1984 Act’), as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders which come into operation on 26 June 2024 will be:

(a) to revoke designated off-street permit holder parking places in the Claverings Estate:

(1) Centre Way N9

(2) South Way N9

(3) Montagu Road N9 at No. 500 Marsh House

(b) to revoke waiting and loading restrictions from the Access Road to the rear of Nos. 18 to 38 Capel Road EN1.

4. A copy of the Orders and other relevant documents can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
