ABANDONMENT – THE U8133 (UNNAMED ROAD) OFF FRIARY ROAD, NEWTOWNHAMILTON

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The U8133 (unnamed road) off Friary Road, Newtownhamilton (Abandonment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024” (S.R 2024 No. 144) which comes into operation on 3 October 2024.

The effect of the Rule is to abandon an area of 5020 square metres of the U8133 (unnamed road) off Friary Road, Newtownhamilton commencing at its junction with the U8132 (unnamed road) and extending for a distance of 704 metres in a north-easterly direction, after completion of such works as the Department considers necessary to provide alternative facilities.

A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) by appointment only.
