THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.218) ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 21st of June 2024 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the orders will be to make the following changes;

a. Bevenden Street - relocate the existing personalised permit bay PDB00093 outside No. 63 Bookham Court, Bevenden Street eastwards by replacing the end permit bay and vice versa.

b. Cazenove Road - shorten the double kerb blips, no loading “at any time” restrictions to outside and opposite Nos. 66 and 68 Cazenove Road.

c. Clapton Common and Webb Estate - introduce double kerb blips, no loading "at any time" restrictions in sections of Clapton Common and at the island site the entrance into Web Estate; and on both sides of the entrance to Webb Estate from its junction with Clapton Common.

d. Greenwood Road - replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside No. 51 Greenwood Road with a personalised permit bay PDB.00267.

e. Hoxton Street - replace the existing motorcycle bay outside No. 202 Hoxton Street with a cashless shared-use motorcycle bay operating Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 6.30pm.

f. Kings Crescent Estate, Weston Court - remove the permit bay outside Nos. 21 to 55 Weston Court, Kings Crescent Estate

g. Linscott Road - replace 10 metres of shared use parking opposite Nos. 18 to 30 Linscott Road with a doctor's bay.

h. Mabley Street - revert the cycle hangar bay outside No. 1 Mabley Street into a permit bay.

i. Moye Close - replace an echelon permit bay outside No. 13 Moye Close with a personalised permit bay – 00268.

j. Nisbet House - replace the existing permit bay opposite Nos. 292-311b Nisbet House with a cashless shared-use motorcycle bay.

k. Otley Terrace - Introduce double kerb blips, no loading "at any time" restrictions throughout Otley Terrace.

l. Rushmore Road - replace the disabled bay outside No. 11 Rushmore Road with a permit bay.

m. Smalley Road Estate - extend the double yellow lines, no waiting "at any time" restrictions in front of No. 24 Sanford Walk in Smalley Road Estate.

n. Tryon Crescent, Replace the disabled bay outside No. 3 Tryon Crescent with a permit bay.

o. Woodberry Down Estate, Dovedale House - replace the disabled bay outside Dovedale House in Woodberry Down Estate with a Z92 permit bay

p. Correcting anomalies between on-street markings and existing Traffic Orders at the following locations:

Gunstor Road (Yorkshire Grove Estate)

Mabley Street

Thornby Road

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 1st July 2024, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to consultation.parking@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, appeal to the High Court.
