1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney on 21st June 2024 did make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the order is to;

a) Introduce Play Streets in the roads and at the times specified in the schedule 1 to this notice;

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 1th July 2024, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made. Currently such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only. Documents can also be requested for inspection by email request made to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk and quoting the above TT reference number.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
