The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No.14) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of a length and two part widths of Eyemouth Lane at Sunderland in the City of Sunderland. This is to enable development as permitted by Sunderland City Council, under reference 21/02679/FU4.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/5333). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Fulwell Community Library, Dean Lane, Fulwell, Sunderland, SR6 8EH.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 02 July 2024.
