The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No. 17) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of a part width of Hill Lane at Exeter, in the City of Exeter. This is to enable development as permitted by Exeter City Council, under reference 19/1621/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5405). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Exeter City Council, Civic Centre, Paris Street, Exeter EX1 1JN.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 18 July 2024.
