That on the 15th April 2024, a quantity of cash, namely £28,195.00 cash was seized from 72 Gracemere Crescent, Birmingham B28 0TZ. The residents at the address were Ramazan LANI, Ergys LANI and Vildan HARUSHA. The current whereabouts of Ergys LANI and Vildan HARUSHA are unknown.

I, Detective Constable 9853 Claire PIERPOINT give notice that I intend to apply for an order under Section 298 (2) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) for the forfeiture of the £28,195.00 together with any interest accrues thereon pursuant to Section 296 (1) of the Act, on the grounds that this said cash is:

a) Recoverable property; or

b) Is intended by any person for use in unlawful conduct

As per Section 297A (2) POCA.

The hearing will be held at Birmingham Magistrates Court at 1000am on Monday 12th August 2024 in court 21.

If no objection is received prior to the hearing, then an application for forfeiture of the £28,195.00 will be made in his/their absence.
