Notice is hereby given that Doggerbank Offshore Wind Farm Project 3 Projco Limited (company number 07791977), with registered offices at Doggerbank Offshore Wind Farm Project 3 Projco Limited, No.1 Forbury Place, 43 Forbury Road, Reading, United Kingdom, RG1 3JH have applied for consent from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero as set out in the Energy Act 2004 and the Electricity (Offshore Generating Stations) (Safety Zones) (Application Procedures and Control of Access) Regulations 2007 (SI No 2007/1948) for safety zones as detailed below, for the consented Dogger Bank C Offshore Wind Farm during construction and periods of major maintenance during the operational phase.

The following safety zones will be applied for:

• 500 metre (m) ‘rolling’ safety zones around any Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) or Offshore Substation Platform (OSP) (including any associated or partially constructed infrastructure, e.g., foundations) whilst work is underway at that structure, as indicated by the presence of construction vessels.

• 50m pre-commissioning safety zones around any WTG or OSP where construction work is not ongoing prior to final commissioning.

• 500m safety zones around any WTG or OSP where major maintenance is being undertaken during the operational phase (where ‘major maintenance’ is as defined under the Electricity Regulations 2007 (SI No 2007/1948)).

Details of the safety zones will be provided via Notice to Mariners prior to the commencement of any construction and major maintenance operations. Further details will be provided in the supporting safety zone application, for which a request may be made for a copy between 6th August and 3rd September 2024 by email to DoggerBankConsentsConsultations@sse.com (referencing ‘Dogger Bank C Safety Zone Application’ in the subject line).

Any person wishing to make representations to the Secretary of State about the application should do so by email to the Secretary of State, Energy Infrastructure Planning Team, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero at energyinfrastructureplanning@energysecurity.gov.uk stating the name of the proposal and nature of their representations, between 6th August and 3rd September 2024.
