PROPOSED 30MPH TO 20MPH SPEED LIMIT SCHEME – VARIOUS ROADS

THE HARINGEY (MOVING TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. ***) ORDER 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Order under sections 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of order will be to implement a 20mph Speed Limit on the lengths of road detailed in the table below:

Road Description
Great North Road N6/N2 From a point outside the common boundary of No.2/4 Great North Road N6, northwest to the boundary with the London Borough of Barnet.
Ferry Lane N17 From a point approximately 15 metres east of the junction with Station Road, east to the boundary with the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
Fortis Green N2/N10 From its junction with Queens Avenue, west to the boundary with the London Borough of Barnet.
Lordship Lane N17 From its junction with High Road N17 to its junction with Bruce Grove.
Lordship Lane N17/N22 From a point outside No.80 Lordship Lane N17, west to its junction with High Road N22.
Muswell Hill N10 From its junction with the Muswell Hill Broadway roundabout to its junction with Park Road/Priory Road.
Priory Road N8 From its junction with Muswell Hill/Park Road to its junction with Middle Lane/High Street.
The Roundway N17 From its junction with Waltheof Gardens to its junction with Lordship Lane.
Boreham Road N22 From its junction with Lordship Lane to its junction with Westbury Avenue
Westbury Avenue N22 From its junction with Lordship Lane to its junction with High Road/Green Lanes.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey or alternatively email traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk or write to Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 4th floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR quoting reference 2024-T19, by 21st August 2024.
