LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT, THE BRENT (GOODS VEHICLES) (FREE LOADING PLACES) (NO. *) ORDER 202*, THE BRENT (GOODS VEHICLES) (FREE LOADING PLACES) (NO. 4, 2003) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 202*, THE BRENT (GOODS VEHICLES) (FREE LOADING PLACES) (NO. 6, 2023) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the 'Goods Vehicles Free Loading Places' Order would be to:-.

(a) revoke and redesignate the existing goods vehicles free loading places on Ealing Road and amend the hours of operation as specified in sub-paragraph 2(b) below;

(b) provide that the goods vehicle free loading places referred to in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would operate between 8.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. throughout the week; and

(c) specify that goods carrying vehicles constructed or adapted for use for the carriage of goods or burden of any description and is not drawing a trailer, may use the parking places so specified in the Schedule, subject to the provisions of the Order, for the purpose of continuous loading and unloading during the permitted hours.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the relevant Orders of 2003 and 2023 (and of the Orders which have amended those Orders), of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of maps which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

5. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to any of the proposed Orders, or to any of the proposals, send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking Services, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/25/134/NP, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
