Vera Holmes (deceased), formerly of Scalford Court Care Home, Melton Rd, Scalford, Melton Mowbray LE14 4UB died on 26 June 2024. She had established an interest in possession trust on 13 August 2010, named the Vera Holmes Settlement Trust (the “Trust”), under which she was the sole principal beneficiary. The trustees of the Trust (the “Trustees”) resolved to commence the wind-up of the Trust on 17 July 2024.

Pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 (as amended), notice is hereby given that any beneficiary, creditor or anyone else having any claim against, or claiming to be beneficially interested in the Trust is required to send to the trustees of the Trust (the "Trustees") at the address given below, on or before 7 October 2024, written particulars of the claim. The Trustees will proceed to distribute the assets of the Trust among the persons entitled to them having regard only to the claims of which the Trustees then have notice, and in respect of the assets of the Trust so used will not be liable to anyone of whose claim the Trustees had no notice on or before 7 October 2024.

Claimants’ particulars should include the full name, and address, as well as details of the substance of the claim.
