SECTION 116 HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

Take NOTICE that Birmingham City Council, being the Highway Authority for the City of Birmingham, intends to apply to the Magistrates Court sitting at Victoria Law Courts, Corporation Street, Birmingham on 19 September Two thousand and twenty four at 10am for an order that the highway in Birmingham being part of Chamberlain Square and part of Congreve Passage being irregular in shape and commencing approximately 63 metres north west of the junction of Paradise Street and Pinfold Street having a width of 8 metres proceeding in a north easterly direction for 20 metres gradually narrowing to a width of 1 metre where it restarts at a point continuing proceeding in a north easterly direction for 4 metres widening to a width of 3 metres then proceeding in a north westerly direction for 14 metres gradually widening to a width of 5 metres continuing in a north westerly direction for 32 metres gradually narrowing to a point where it restarts with a width of 4 metres continuing in a north westerly direction for 3 metres immediately widening to a width of 3 metres continuing in a north westerly direction for 4 metres gradually widening to a width of 3 metres then continuing in a north westerly direction for 22 metres gradually narrowing to a width of 4 metres to its end be authorised to be stopped up on the ground that it is unnecessary.
