The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No. 25) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of a northern part width of Lower Sandgate Road at Folkstone in the District of Folkestone and Hythe. This is to enable development as permitted by Folkestone and Hythe District Council, under references 23/0536/FH and 23/0565/FH.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/5730). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Folkestone Town Council, The Town Council Offices, The Town Hall, 1-2 Guildhall Street, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 1DY.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 15 August 2024.
