THE CROYDON (ON-STREET CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (NO. 21) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 12 August 2024 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking place in The Ridgeway, Croydon, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 66.

b) Designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in the location below.

The Ridgeway, Croydon Outside No. 89 and partially across the frontage of No 91 (partial footway bay)

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 19 August 2024, and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made at Access Croydon, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.

3. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
