THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.230) ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 16th day of August 2024 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce Dockless cycle hire bays in the following locations;

Road Name Location
Beechwood Road 0.2m south of the extended building line of number 50, for a distance of 5m southwards, replacing a shared use bay.
Casimir Road 10m south of the northern kerb of Casimir Road, for a distance of 5m south, replacing a shared use bay.
Elrington Road 5.5m of the extended southern building line of number 95 Forest Road, for a distance of 5m northwards, replacing a residents permit bay.
Glenarm Road 5.3m south west of the boundary line of number 1b/3 for a distance 5m westwards, replacing a residents permit bay.
Ritson Road 1m west of the extended building line of number 1 for a distance of 5m westwards, replacing a shared use bay.
Seal Street 6.9m north west of the extended building line of number 185 Shacklewell Lane, for a distance of 5m north westerly, replacing a residents permit bay.
Wayland Avenue 7.1m north of the extended building line of number 29, for a distance of 5m northwards, replacing a permit holder's bay.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 26th day of August 2024, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
