TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC139584578: The City of Manchester (Lomax Street & Brock Street, Piccadilly Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Lomax Street from the Carpark Entrance to Brock Street & on Brock Street for its full length. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Laystall Street, Great Ancoats Street, Ducie Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the adjacent development. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 2nd September 2024 to 23rd February 2026. The order shall come into operation on 2nd September 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
