THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING (WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (COPSE AVENUE) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 29th August 2024 the Council of the London Borough of Havering did make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which will come into operation on 9th September 2024.

2. The general effect of the Experimental Order will be as follows:

a) To introduce no waiting at any time restrictions

i) On the northern side of Copse Avenue from the junction of St Clements Avenue to a point 6 metres west of the junction with Rose Garden Close

3. Full details are available for inspection together with the deposit documents either through https://havering.traffweb.app/ or by emailing Schemes@havering.gov.uk

4. The experimental provisions can continue in force for a maximum of 18 months. Within a period of 6 months from the coming into operation of the Experimental Traffic Order any person may object to the making of a permanent Order. Any objection should be in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and be addressed to the Interim Assistant Director of Environment, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BB. Any comments in support of the Experimental Traffic Order are also invited during this period.

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Experimental Traffic Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made there under has not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Experimental Traffic Order was made, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
