THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

[NOTE: This Notice is about proposals to introduce new electric vehicle charging places in various locations in the Borough. If there is any existing parking space at the locations specified in paragraph 2, this will be removed to accommodate the new electric vehicle charging places. Objections or other comments may be made to the measures being continued on a permanent basis – see paragraph 3].

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above Order.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce electric vehicle charging places (EVCP) and revoke existing underlying waiting, loading, and parking place restrictions at: -

(1) Abbotsford Road, the north side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside All Saints’ Church;

(2) Blenheim Avenue, the south-west side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of No. 16 Clarence Avenue;

(3) Brixham Gardens, the south-west side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of No. 32 Ashburton Avenue;

(4) Clark’s Road, the east side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of the Fire Station;

(5) Copthorne Avenue, the north side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of No. 154A Tudor Crescent;

(6) Couchmore Avenue, the east side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of No.2 St. Clare Close.

(7) Horn Lane, the south-west side, introduce 2 No. EVCP opposite of No. 19 Horn Lane;

(8) Horns Road, the west side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside No 71 Horns Road;

(9) Marlands Road, the north-west side, introduce 2 No. EVCP on the side of Nos 67 to 72 Avenue Court;

(10) Primrose Avenue, the south, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of No. 20 Barley Lane;

(11) Quebec Road, the south-east side, outside the flank wall of No. 78 Brisbane Road;

(12) St Andrew’s Road, the south-east side, introduce 2 No. EVCP opposite Nos. 101 and 103 St Andrew’s Road;

(13) St. Barnabas Road, the south-east side, outside the flank wall of No. 96 Broadmead Road;

(14) Shepherds Close, the south-west side, introduce 2 No. echelon EVCP at the north-western end of the inset layby outside Nos.92 to 98 Shepherds Close;

(15) South Park Crescent, the south side, introduce 2 No. EVCP opposite Nos. 3, 4 and 5 South Park Crescent;

(16) Tillotson Road, the south-east side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of No. 22 Emerson Road;

(17) Vicarage Lane, the south-east side, introduce 2 No. EVCP opposite Nos. 63 and 65 Vicarage Lane;

(18) Worcester Crescent, the north-east side, introduce 2 No. EVCP outside the flank wall of No. 69 King’s Avenue.

3. A copy of the Order may be examined along with map-based plans at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Any objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made by writing to Electric Vehicle Charge Point team, 2nd Floor (front), Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY, within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice. Any objection may be communicated to, or be seen by, other persons who may have an interest in this matter.
