THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hackney, in accordance with the Section 90C of the Highway Act 1980 as amended proposes to remove a raised table, as detailed in schedule 1 of this notice.

2. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hackney, in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act Section 23 as amended proposes to remove a raised zebra crossing, as detailed in schedule 2 of this notice.

3. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

The general effect of the Orders will be as follows;

Ainsworth Road

(a) Remove 10.3m of shared use bay and replace with new 10.3m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions on the western kerbline, from a point 0.5m south of the northeastern corner of No 64 Well Street in a southern direction.

(b) Remove the entire 14.1m of shared use bay and replace with new 14.0m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions on the eastern kerbline, from a point 4.1m north of the northwestern corner of No 66 Well Street in a southern direction.

Frampton Park Road

(a) Remove 10.0m of shared use bay and replace with new 10m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions on the western kerbline, from a point in line with the northwestern corner of Nos 1 to 7 Taylor Court in a southern direction.

(b) Remove 17.6m of shared use bay and replace with new 16.6m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions on the eastern kerbline, from a point 1.8m north of the northwestern corner of Nos 1 to 7 Taylor Court in a southern direction.

Well Street

(a) Install 21.8m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions on the southern kerbline, from a point 0.8m west of the boundary between Nos. 70 and 72 in a western direction.

(b) Install 20.9m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions on the northern kerbline, from a point 6.4m east of the southwestern corner of Nos 1 to 7 Taylor Court in an eastern direction.

(c) Remove 16.8m of permit holders bay and replace with 16.8m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions on the northern kerbline, from a point 6.0m east of the southwestern corner of Nos 1 to 36 in an eastern direction.

2. Any objections or other representations about either of the Orders should be sent in writing to Streetscene – Networks Team at the address specified in paragraph 3 above or emailed to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Well Street Remove 12.8m of raised table outside No. 66 Well Street, from a point 13.4m west of the boundary between Nos. 70 and 72 in a western direction.

Raised Zebra Crossing: Schedule

Well Street Remove the existing zebra crossing and zig zag markings outside No.66 Well Street from a point 0.8m west of the boundary between Nos. 70 and 72 for 38.5m in a western direction

Signalised Pedestrian Crossing: Schedule

Ainsworth Road, Frampton Park Road and Well Street Introduce new signalised pedestrian crossings with signals at junctions of Ainsworth Road, Frampton Park Road and Well Street at the junction of Ainsworth Street and Frampton Park Road
