The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Diversion of Highway (West Midlands) (No.24) Order 2024 " authorising the stopping up and diversion of a length of Footpath 0234/109/1 at Whitchurch in Shropshire. This is to enable development as permitted by Shropshire Council, under reference 23/05100/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/WM/S247/5770. They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Whitchurch Town Hall and Community Hub, The Old Police Station, Station Road, Whitchurch, Shropshire, SY13 1RE.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 10 September 2024.
