Notices under the Trustee Act 1925
PENSION SCHEME NOTICE
THE SLEEPEEZEE RETIREMENT BENEFITS PLAN 1975
(“THE PLAN”)
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 (as amended) that the Plan’s benefits are shortly to be secured with an insurance company following which the Plan will be wound up. Any person (whether member, creditor or other) having a claim against or claiming to be beneficially interested in the Plan (whether as a member, widow, widower or other dependant of a member or otherwise) is required to submit details in writing of their claim or interest.
If you have been contacted by the Trustee or have received correspondence from the Trustee in the last two years, or if you are currently in receipt of a pension from the Plan, there is no need to respond to this notice.
However, if you think you are entitled to benefits under the Plan, but have not recently been contacted by the Trustee, please contact us in writing at the Sleepeezee Retirement Benefits Plan 1975 Administration Team, Barnett Waddingham LLP, 2 London Wall Place, 123 London Wall, London, EC2Y 5AU, or alternatively by email, sleepeezee@barnett-waddingham.co.uk. You should include details of your full name, your current address, National Insurance number, a note of any benefits to which you think you may be entitled and copies of any evidence that you can provide to confirm your entitlement. Alternatively, if you need clarification about the information required, please call 0333 1111 222.
Beneficiaries should make claims as set out above not later than 2 months from the date of this notice. The Trustee is in the process of securing benefits with an insurance company for the members and beneficiaries of the Plan. Therefore, the Trustee wants to ensure that their records include all members and beneficiaries so that the correct benefits are insured. If the Trustee does not hear from you, they will proceed with the insurance of the Plan’s benefits, having regard only to the claims and interest of which they have received notice.
