The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No. 39) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of an eastern part width, incorporating footway, of Market Place at Howden, in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is to enable development as permitted by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, under reference 22/00346/PLF.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/5775). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Howden Centre, 69 Hailgate, Howden, East Riding of Yorkshire DN14 7SX.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 19 September 2024.
