The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (South East) (No.28) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of two triangle shaped areas of highway lying west of Southgate at Chichester, in the District of Chichester. This is to enable development as permitted by Chichester District Council, under reference CC/23/01857/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/5640). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Chichester Library, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1QJ.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 26 September 2024.
