LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING

THE EALING (SCHOOL STREETS – HAMBROUGH) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, on 30 September 2024 to make the above-titled Order, under sections 6 and 124 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the made Order will be to prohibit motor vehicles from using:

(a) Beatrice Road; Raynor Close; and St Joseph’s Drive, during Mondays to Fridays 8.30-9.15am and 3-4pm, exemptions would apply for emergency services vehicles, residents who live within the zone;

(b) Dryden Avenue during Mondays to Fridays 8.30-9,15am and 2.45-3.45pm, visitors to residents within the zone, blue badge holders, delivery vehicles, and school staff.

3. The made Order, which will come into operation on 7 October 2024, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
