TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (South West) (No. 24) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of the whole of Haymarket Walk, a western part width of St James’ Barton Roundabout and an eastern part width of Cannon Street at Bristol in the City of Bristol. This is to enable development as permitted by Bristol City Council, under reference 23/02827/F.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5801). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Bristol City Council, City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 2 October 2024.
