NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

ENERSYS UK PENSION SCHEME (THE “SCHEME”)

The EnerSys UK Pension Scheme commenced winding up on 28 June 2024

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustees of the EnerSys UK Pension Scheme (the “Trustees”), hereby give notice that the Scheme is in the process of being wound up and that its assets will be distributed.

The Trustees request that:

(a) any former employee of EnerSys Holdings UK Limited, EnerSys Limited (previously called BTR Industrial Holdings Limited) or ABSL Power Solutions Limited who believes that they may be entitled to benefits under the Scheme or;

(b) if the former member is deceased the spouse or dependent of that person, who in either case is (or thinks that they might be) entitled to benefits under the Scheme, or;

(c) any other person who believes that they may have a claim against the Scheme

provides details of their membership (including dates of membership, date of birth, National Insurance number, and any other relevant information), interest, claim or entitlement in writing to:

Details must be sent within two months of the date of publication of this notice. After the expiry of the two-month period, the Scheme shall be wound up and its assets will be distributed. The Trustees will only have regard to the claims of which they have had prior written notice. The Trustees shall not be liable to any person whose claim has not been notified to them by the expiry date of this notice.

Any individuals who have already been contacted on behalf of the Trustees with regard to this matter need not respond to this notice, as the Trustees already hold details of their claims and entitlements.
