The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.43) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of a southern part width of Hart Street consisting of footway at Ulverston in the District of Westmorland and Furness. This is to enable development as permitted by Westmorland and Furness Council, under reference SL/2023/0081.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/5559). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Ulverston Post Office, County Square, Ulverston, Cumbria, LA12 7AA.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 10 October 2024.
