Acquisition and Disposal of Land
National Gas Theddlethorpe.jpg National Gas Transmission Plc (NGT) intends to dispose of land at Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal, which was originally acquired by its predecessor, the Gas Council, under threat of compulsion from:
The Secretary of State for Defence, George John House, Alan Francis Phillpotts, Andrew Thomas Stainton, Willows Holmes Farrow, Dorothy Farrow, Dorothy Violet Farrow, Dorothy Elizabeth Smith, Ernest Hewins Pridgeon, Fred Fowler, Frank Fowler, Frances Ruby Fowler, George Keal Bell, John William Bell, Reverend Geoffrey Ormrod Asson, The Church Commissioners for England, Sir Joslan William Vivian Ingilby Baronet, Harold Smith, Nick Galpin Enterprises Limited, Bernard Bell, Reginald Arthur Farrow, Leslie Donald Dennis Henshaw, Arthur Scaman, The Incumbent of Theddlethorpe Saint Helen and All Saints in the County and Diocese of Lincoln, James William Brooks and Edwin Walter Hauton.
NGT has considered the Crichel Down Rules and has determined that the land does not need to be first offered back to former owners or successors due to material changes in the land and/or exemptions to the Rules.
