TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247(2A)

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BEXLEY (STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS) ORDER (NO 2) 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Bexley hereby gives notice that it has made an order under section 247(2A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, authorising the stopping up of an area of highway comprising the triangular grass verge area located behind the footway on the east side of the junction of Bridge Road and Slade Green Road.

The order is made to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the Act with reference: 23/01307/FULM.

A copy of the order and the order plan may be inspected free of charge at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT on Mondays to Fridays during 9.30am to 16.30pm (excluding bank holidays and public holidays). A copy may also be viewed on the Council’s website.

The order comes into force on 16th October 2024

Any person aggrieved by the order and wishing to question its validity, or any provision contained in the order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the TCPA 1990 or that any procedural requirement of the TCPA 1990 or any regulation made under the TCPA 1990 has not been complied with in relation to the making of the order may before the end of the period of 6 weeks beginning with the day after the 16th October 2024 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the order or of any provision contained in the order.
