NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL (MAIN STREET AND OVERTOWN ROAD, NEWMAINS, WISHAW) DIVERSION ORDER 2024
North Lanarkshire Council hereby give notice that the above Order made under Section 207 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 authorising the diversion of part of the road and footway to the south of Main Street, Newmains, Wishaw and part of the road and footway to the north of Main Street/Overtown Road, Newmains, Wishaw has now been confirmed as an unopposed Order.
Both sections of the road and footway as shown on the plan annexed and subscribed as relative to the said Order will be diverted to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part Ill of the said Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.
A copy of the Order, as confirmed, and relevant plan may be inspected at the offices of North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell, ML1 1AB by any person free of charge during normal office hours or viewed on-line at www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/stopping-up-order
The foregoing Order is final subject to the right of appeal to the Court of Session within six weeks from the date hereof conferred by Sections 237, 238 and 239 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 whereby the Court may quash the Order if satisfied that it is not within the powers of the Act or that interests have been substantially prejudiced by failure to comply with any requirement of the Act.
