The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (West Midlands) (No.31) Order 2024 " authorising the stopping up of a length of Byway DUD0091 (formally known as Hockley Lane) at Dudley in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley. This is to enable development as permitted by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council under references, P19/1369 and P24/0340.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/WM/S247/5827). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Netherton Library, The Savoy Centre, Northfield Rd, Netherton, Dudley, DY2 9ES.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 31 October 2024.
