HIGHWAYS ACT 1980: SECTION 116

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application will be made to the Justices of the Peace sitting at the Norwich Magistrates Court, Bishopgate, Norwich NR3 1UP on 04 December 2024 at 10:00am for an Order authorising the stopping-up of part of the highway at Hay Hill, Norwich in the city of Norwich. The area to be stopped up for the purposes of all public highway rights is as follows:

Description:

An irregularly shaped parcel of land with a central parcel of land being omitted (that central parcel not being highway);

Commencing at Grid Reference TG 2297 0839 and proceeding in a generally west direction for approximately 41 metres to Grid Reference TG 2293 0839 then generally south for approximately 20 metres to Grid Reference TG 2293 0837, then generally south-east for approximately 5 metres to Grid Reference TG 2294 0837, then in a generally east-south-east direction for approximately 38 metres to Grid Reference TG 2297 0836, then generally east for approximately 3.5 metres to Grid Reference TG 2298 0836, then generally north for approximately 30 metres to Grid Reference TG 2297 0839.

The overall area measurement to be stopped up is approximately 740 square metres.

A plan showing the land hatched green which is the subject of this application may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH.

Any person using the highway or any person aggrieved by the making of the Order, has a right to be heard before the Justices.
