The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No. 38) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of an eastern part width of Gratwicke Road at Worthing in the District and Borough of Adur and Worthing. This is to enable development as permitted by Worthing Borough Council under reference AWDM/0479/24.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/5820). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Worthing Library, 20 Richmond Road, Town Centre, Worthing, BN11 1HD.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 21 November 2024.
