HIGHWAYS STOPPING UP ORDER

THE STOPPING-UP OF LAND AT WEST WICKHAM LIBRARY WEST WICKHAM

THE MAYOR AND BURGESSES of the London Borough of Bromley hereby give Notice that they have made an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping-up of Land at West Wickham Library West Wickham.

THE ORDER HAS BEEN MADE to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the Planning Permission granted to The London Borough of Bromley but care of Ms Sheila Eilenberg Brimelow McSweeney Architects 26 Great Queen Street Covent Garden London WC2B 5BL under reference DC/21/04851/FULL1.

A copy of the Order may be inspected by making an email request to: highway.planning@bromley.gov.uk

Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of 11th December 2024 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contain therein.

THE SCHEDULE

Land at West Wickham Library West Wickham

The redevelopment of the car park site on Croft Avenue to provide a mews of 6 houses comprising 12 flats (6 x 1 bed and 6 x 3 bed) and a detached three storey block of flats comprising 14 units (5 x studio and 9 x 1 bed); with the associated bike and bin stores, car parking, ancillary space, private, communal amenity space and alterations to the access road.

The term “stopping up” means that the area of the highway being the Land at West Wickham Library Glebe Way West Wickham would permanently cease to be public highway.
