TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No.53) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of a southern part width of Brighton Grove, a northern part width of Ashton Lane, an irregular shaped area of highway as lies off Ashton Lane, comprising highway verge and an unnamed footpath which lies to the west of York Road at Sale in the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford. This is to enable development as permitted by Trafford Council under reference 102822/FUL/20.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/4547). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Sale Library, Sale Waterside, Sale, M33 7ZF.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 19 December 2024.
