The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No.1) Order 2025 authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped southern part width of Park Lane at Goathurst, in the County of Somerset. This is to enable development as permitted Somerset Council, under reference 29/23/00003.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5869). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at North Petherton Post Office, 25 Fore Street, North Petherton, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 6SB.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 14 January 2025.
