THE HILLINGDON (ON STREET PARKING PLACES) (UXBRIDGE NORTH PARKING MANAGEMENT SCHEME) ZONES U1, U3, U7, U8, U9 & U10 ORDER 2023 (AMENDMENT NO. 3) ORDER 2025

Hillingdon Council gives notice that on 10th January 2025 it made the above Orders to:

1. Install 'at any time' waiting restrictions in sections of roads as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.

2. Install blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations:

i) Outside No. 18 Wentworth Crescent, Hayes.

ii) The Glebe, West Drayton alongside No. 144 Coleridge Way, West Drayton.

iii) Outside Nos. 7 & 8 Landseer Court, Raeburn Road, Hayes

iv) Outside No. 46 Berberis Walk, West Drayton

3. Introduce waiting restrictions operational ‘Monday to Friday 8.30am to 10.30am and 3.30pm to 4.30pm’ along the following sections of Sipson Lane, West Drayton

i) North side, from a point 35 metres west of the eastern kerb line of the dropped kerb of the entrance to Hayes and Harlington Sports Ground westwards to a point 10 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Vineries Close.

ii) South side, from a point 10 metres west of the western edge of the Gravel Pit Service Road westwards to a point 10 metres northeast of the northeastern kerb line of Sipson Road.

4. Introduce a 40mph speed limit along the section of Bath Road, West Drayton between its junction with Stanwell Moor Road and the borough boundary with Slough Borough Council.

5. Convert the existing ‘Monday to Friday 8am to 10am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm’ waiting restrictions outside No. 142 and 144 Rowan Road, West Drayton to ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.

6. Remove 2.8 metres of Zone U1 permit holder parking place across the existing vehicle crossover outside No. 14 Cambridge Road, Uxbridge and replace with ‘Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm’ waiting restrictions.

Copies of the Orders which will come into operation on 20th January 2025 can be seen by appointment at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge during normal office hours, for six weeks following the date on which this notice is published. Copies of the Orders can be obtained from the Transport & Projects team, by email parkingmanagementschemes@hillingdon.gov.uk. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which these Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE – INSTALLATION OF 'AT ANY TIME' WAITING RESTRICTIONS

ALMOND CLOSE, HAYES – At the junction with Chestnut Close.

CHESTNUT CLOSE, HAYES – At the junctions with Almond Close and Walnut Close.

WALNUT CLOSE, HAYES – At the junction with Chestnut Close.

MARLBOROUGH ROAD, HILLINGDON – On the inside of the corner outside No. 48 Marlborough Road.

DRENON SQUARE, HAYES – At both junctions with Longmead Road.

LONGMEAD ROAD, HAYES – At the both junctions with Drenon Square.

BEMPTON DRIVE, RUISLIP – Extend the existing double yellow lines outside No. 110 Bempton Drive.

HIGH ROAD, COWLEY – Extend the existing double yellow lines north of the junction with Benbow Way up to the bus stop outside Maygoods View.

WALTHAM AVENUE, HAYES – On the inside of the corner outside No. 169 Waltham Avenue.

KEWFERRY ROAD, NORTHWOOD – At the junction with Kewferry Drive.
