NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wirral Borough Council being the Highway Authority intends to apply to the Wirral Borough Magistrates' Court, sitting at Chester Street, Birkenhead on 6 March 2025 at 1.45 pm for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the highway as described below and in the schedule hereto and currently situated within the boundary of Bidston Avenue Primary School at the junction of Bidston Avenue and Tollemache Road, Birkenhead, Wirral CH41 0DQ to be stopped up on the grounds that the said highway is unnecessary. The highway to be stopped up is shown edged and hatched black on the plan deposited at the Birkenhead Central Library, Borough Road, Birkenhead, Wirral CH41 2XB and may be inspected free of charge during normal opening hours. Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order to be applied for may attend before the Court during the hearing of the application and shall have the right to be heard.

SCHEDULE

From Point A to Point B in a Northerly direction for approximately 11 metres.

From Point B to point C in an Easterly direction for approximately 12 metres.

From Point C to Point A in a South Westerly direction for approximately 19 metres.

The area covers approximately 107m².
