1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 17th January 2025 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce electric vehicle charging bays in the following locations;
| Road Name | Location |
| Almack Road | 9.6m away south east direction from existing kerb line of Mayola Road. Install a new 14.2m electric vehicle charging bay on the opposite side, in the south east direction replacing a residents permit bay. |
| Bouverie Road | 8.0m away south direction from existing kerb line of Grayling Road. Install a new 14.2m electric vehicle charging bay replacing a permit bay. |
| Chelmer Road | 9.4m away west direction from existing kerb line of Glyn Road. Install a new 14.2m electric vehicle charging bay in the west direction replacing a permit bay. |
| Roding Road | 6.2m away south direction from existing kerb line of Ashenden Road. Install a new 13.5m electric vehicle charging bay in the south direction replacing a permit bay. |
| Shellgrove Road | 5.8m away east direction from existing junction line of Boleyn Road. Install a new 13.5m electric vehicle charging bay in the east direction replacing a permit bay. |
| Shore Place | 8.3m away south direction from existing junction line of Well Street. Install a new 14.2m electric vehicle charging bay in the south direction replacing a permit bay. |
3. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce Electric Vehicle charging bays with a maximum stay of 4 hours no return within 2 hours in the following locations;

| Mentmore Terrace | 22.1m away north direction from existing kerb line of Lamb Lane. Install a new 14.7m electric vehicle charging bay in the north direction replacing a cashless shared use bay. |
| Wallis Road | 10.0m away east direction from existing building line of 99 Wallis Road. Install a new 15.7m electric vehicle charging bay in the east direction replacing cashless use bay. |
4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 28th day of March 2025, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
