1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the 'Electric Vehicle Charging Points' Order would be to: -

(a) designate parking places for electric vehicle charging at the locations listed in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) provide that the parking places would operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;

(c) specify that the parking places in the controlled parking zone referred to in the Schedule to this notice would be available for fully electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles only, for up to 12 hours, provided that during controlled parking zone operational hours the applicable charge for the relevant controlled parking zone permit has been paid with respect to the vehicle and that any electric vehicle is connected via a charging lead to a lamp column upgraded to enable electric charging at all times while it is left in a parking place. Electric vehicles having left a parking place for electric vehicle charging would be able to return after 4 hours have elapsed.

3. The general effect of the 'Parking Places Amendment' Orders would be to remove existing lengths of parking place in the lengths of road listed in the Schedule to this notice to accommodate the introduction of parking places designated for electric vehicle charging.

4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden. 5. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment, Civic Pride and Climate Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/EV/2025/batch17, no later than 21 February 2025.

HACCOMBE ROAD, SW19; the north side, from a point 13.7 metres west of the western kerb-line of Haydons Road, westward for a distance of 6 metres.

WYCLIFFE ROAD, SW19; the east side, from a point 5.5 metres north of the boundary of No. 55 Wycliffe Road and No. 193 South Park Road, northward for a distance of 5.3 metres.

HAVELOCK ROAD, SW19; the south-west side, from the south-easternmost property boundary of No. 34 Kohat Road, north-westward for a distance of 5.5 metres.

KINGSLEY ROAD, SW19; the north-west side, from a point 10.6 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Haydons Road north-eastward for a distance of 5.3 metres.

GARFIELD ROAD, SW19; the south-west side, from a point 3 metres north-west of the common boundary of No. 48 Dryden Road and No. 53 Milton Road south-eastward for a distance of 6 metres.

TENNYSON ROAD, SW19; the north-west side, from a point 5.5 metres north-east of the north-easternmost property boundary of No. 21 Tennyson Road north-eastward for a distance of 5.5 metres.

ALL SAINTS ROAD, SW19; the south side, from a point 11.4 metres east of the common boundary of the All Saints Church and No. 13 All Saints Road, eastward for a distance of 6 metres.

DEBURGH ROAD, SW19; the south side, from a point 1.5 metres east of the easternmost property boundary of No. 1 Deburgh Road, eastward for a distance of 5.5 metres.

HOTHAM ROAD, SW19; the east side, from a point 7 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Gilbert Road southward for a distance of 6 metres.

LABURNUM ROAD, SW19; the east side, from a point 3.8 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 5 and 7 Laburnum Road northward for a distance of 6 metres.
