LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A STOPPING UP ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 an application will be made to the Justices of the Peace of the Local Justice Area of Lincolnshire on Monday 10 March 2025 at 10.00 am at the Boston Magistrates Court, The Court House, 55 Norfolk Street, Boston PE21 6PE for stopping up part of the public highway at Whipchicken Road, Crowland – east of the B1166 Spalding Road PE6 0LX. The land to be stopped up is approximately 2166 square metres as shown coloured pink on the stopping up plan being Drawing No. D/HCMSD0003/SU/07/A1.
The Drawing can be view at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk or at Main Reception, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln LN1 1YL or at South Holland District Council, Council Offices, Priory Road, Spalding, Lincolnshire PE11 2XE.
The Order sought is for stopping up the said areas of land for the purposes of all traffic on the ground that it is unnecessary.
