PROPOSED SPEED HUMPS
HAYES LANE, KENLEY
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that they propose to install flat top speed humps as specified in the Schedule to this Notice to help reduce vehicular speeds and improve road safety at these locations.
Persons desiring to object to the proposal should send a statement in writing of their objections and grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking Services, Parking Design Team, 3rd Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing parking.design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/K29/Hayes Lane by 27 February 2025.

Schedule
It is intended to place speed humps in the carriageway in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999. The width of each hump will vary, depending on carriageway width. Every speed hump will have a 2.5m length flat plateau, ramps of 0.6m (1:12max), and will be a maximum of 75mm high. As a guide these humps will be placed in the following approximate locations.
Proposed Speed Humps
1) Outside No. 7 Hayes Lane
2) Outside No. 15 Hayes Lane
3) Outside No. 25 Hayes Lane
4) Outside No. 29 Hayes Lane
5) In Hayes Lane at the rear of No. 7 Highclere Close
6) Immediately east of the eastern boundary No. 47 Hayes Lane
7) Outside No. 49 Hayes Lane
