The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.2) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of the whole of the pedestrian footbridge across Melville Street at Lincoln in the City of Lincoln. This is to enable development as permitted by City of Lincoln Council, under reference 2022/0159/OUT.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/5050). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Stonebow Centre Post Office, Unit 7, Stonebow Centre, Silver Street, Lincoln, LN2 1DY.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 13 February 2025.
