TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (CONTROL OF ADVERTISEMENT) REGULATIONS 2007
NOTICE PURSUANT TO PART 2, REGULATION 7 CONFIRMING THAT AN APPLICATION TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE HAS BEEN MADE
We hereby give NOTICE that on 18th February 2025 the council applied to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for a Direction under Regulation 7 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisement) Regulations 2007 for the restriction of deemed advertising consent across the entire city, or if this is not possible, all Conservation Areas and areas covered by the councils Regulation 7 Direction.
The effect of the proposed Direction would be to remove rights granted by the Regulations to display Estate Agents Boards at properties without the need for advertisement consent.
A copy of the Maps showing the affected areas can be viewed at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, SW1E 6QP.
