Notice is hereby given that an EIA Report has been submitted to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar by Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission Plc to inform the Planning Application for the proposal detailed above.
A copy of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report may be examined free of charge at the office of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Sandwick Road, Stornoway, Isle Of Lewis, HS1 2BW (Planning Tel No: 01851 822690) between 0900 and 1700 Monday to Friday by prior appointment or on-line on the Comhairle nan Eilean Siar website (https://www.cne-siar.gov.uk/) by reference to the following page: https://www.cne-siar.gov.uk/planning-and-building-standards/planning/planning-applications/view-planning-applications/national-major-andor-eia-development-applications/determining-authority/2500061pppm-electricity-transmission-hub-hvdc-converter-station-substations-etc

Any person who wishes to make representations about the EIA Report and/or Planning Application should make them in writing by email to planning@cne-siar.gov.uk or by letter to the Planning Service, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, at the above address, by the expiry of 30 days of this Notice.
Copies of the EIA Report are available on request in different formats, at a cost to be advised, from Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission Plc, Per Mairi Rigby, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, 10 Henderson Road, Inverness IV1 1SN: Email: LT14Lewishub@sse.com.
Any subsequent submission of substantive information about a matter in the EIA Report shall be advertised in this publication and published on the Comhairle website under Reference 25/00061/PPPM.
The possible decisions which Comhairle nan Eilean Siar may take in relation to the application are to grant planning permission, to grant planning permission with conditions or to refuse permission.
Notwithstanding any comments that may have been submitted to the Developer/Applicant on the proposal at the Pre-Application Consultation with Communities stage (National Developments), any formal representation on the Planning Application and/or the EIA Report requires to be made directly to the Comhairle as Planning Authority in order for the representations to be considered in the assessment of the Planning Application.
