1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hackney, in accordance with the Section 90C of the Highway Act 1980 and Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended proposes to install a raised table (parallel crossing), as detailed in schedule 1 of this notice.

2. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hackney, in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act Section 23 as amended proposes to introduce a zebra crossing, as detailed in schedule 2 of this notice.

3. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the Orders will be as follows;

(a) Boleyn Road - Remove the following parking bays and replace them with double yellow lines and double kerb blips, no waiting or loading “at any time” restrictions.

(i) From a point 10m Southeast of the Southeastern kerb line of Pellerin Road to a point 2m Southeast.

(ii) From a point 7m Northwest of the Northwestern kerb line of Hayling Close to a point 15m Southeast of the Northwestern kerb line of Hayling Close.

(iii) From a point 2m Southeast of the Southeastern kerb line of Thornbury Close to a point 4m Northwest of the Northwestern kerb line of Tavistock Close.

(iv) From a point 3.5m Southeast of the Southeastern kerb line of Tavistock Close to a point 22.5m Southeast.

(v) From a point 11m Northwest of the Southeastern flank wall of number 2 Mathias Road to a point 10m Northwest.

(b) Amend the wording of the existing traffic prohibition of driving order for Wordsworth Road to read - Wordsworth Road- from a point 2m northeast of the junction of Matthias Road/Boleyn Road to a point 9.5m northeast of said junction.

4. 5. Any objections or other representations about either of the Orders should be sent in writing to Streetscene – Networks Team at the address specified in paragraph 3 above or emailed to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Raised table/Parallel crossing: Schedule

Note: The carriageway will be relevelled to install a new raised table and parallel crossing. The maximum height of the table will be 100mm.

Boleyn Road/Matthias Road: North of its junction with Wordsworth Road with the centre line of the crossing being approx 9.7m north-west of that junction.

Zebra Crossing: Schedule

Boleyn Road: North of its junction with Shellgrove Road. The centreline for this crossing will be approx. 6 metres north-west of that junction.
