The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.05) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of a length of Union Street at Northampton, in West Northamptonshire. This is to enable development permitted by West Northamptonshire Council, under reference 2024/2441/FULL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/5940). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Northampton Post Office, 20 St Giles' Street, Northampton, NN1 1AF.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 3 April 2025.
